If some GOP group does something like, oh say, voter intimidation or “non-standard” (what liberals would call fraudulent) voter registration, it is simply people operating in the best tradition of democratic republics and an expression of true American grit. In other words it is an action beyond reproach and one that all (Republicans) should seek to emulate. If it turns out that someone gets caught doing this then it is one bad apple. If it should so happen that there are any memos then it was a rogue office.

If on the other hand, some Democratically aligned group should make a mistake, have an unscrupulous person registering voters or does anything out of line, no matter how trivial it might be, it is a treat to democracy itself, a sign that Democrats are now and have always been communist members of Al Qaeda and the rot goes all the way to the top! Yes, that means that the President knew about it no matter how many degrees of separation there are between him and the person who has done the action.
